HANDMADE DECORATIVE WASHI
100% KOZO PAPER MULBERRY/HANDMADE
ECHIZEN-WASHI Echizen Japanese paper FUKUI/ MADE IN JAPAN

Mon Papier is handmade Japanese paper made from kozo (paper mulberry), with small cut-out motifs interconnected to create a sheet of paper. Each sheet of paper features a distinctive pattern, or mon in Japanese, as kozo fibers organically connect the cut-out motifs, forming a single sheet of washi. Unlike traditional watermarking techniques or laser cutting, this washi produces unique floating effects.
This handmade washi paper features intertwined motifs, with the fibers of the paper intertwining to form a single sheet. It can be torn into individual pieces for enjoyment, used in table settings, or as gift wrapping. It can also be attached to glass with water, making it suitable for windowsill displays. Enjoy the warmth and beauty unique to washi paper in a variety of everyday settings.
